Jefferson Park Penguins won a dramatic crowd-pleaser over Caracas Leones at
the ballpark pulling it out in their last at bats, 4 to 3.
The deciding run was scored by Jefferson Park in the bottom of the 9th. Adam
Dunn lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' (his 21st of the season) resulting in an
exciting win for Jefferson Park and a wild post-game celebration by the home
town fans. Jefferson Park banged out 7 on the afternoon.
The win went to Ricky Bottalico(5-1) who allowed no runs in 2/3 of an inning.
Scot Shields(4-4) was given the loss in relief. He pitched 1 and 2/3 innings
giving up 4 hits and no walks.
